At St Michael’s Infant School, we love stories!  We share books every day and build most of our learning around familiar texts.  We would like to give you as parents the opportunity to come into school and join us for an informal ‘Sparkling Stories’ session, where you will be able to find out about good books to share with your child at home, take away some top tips, and most importantly have fun sharing stories with your child.

Each Thursday afternoon this half term, the parents of children from one keyworker group will be invited into school at 2.40 p.m. to join us for ‘Sparkling Stories’.  If you are not able to attend due to work commitments, we welcome grandparents or childminders to come instead.  Younger siblings are welcome too!  Please add the date for your child’s keyworker group to your diary and look out for the reminder in the ‘Message Monday’ email.  It’s a real treat for the children to be able to bring their parents to school! When you come in for your child’s session, please wait outside the classroom door. Thank you.
